IPOP_LA 2026: LOS ANGELES HOSTS A GLOBAL CELEBRATION OF TALENT AND OPPORTUNITY

Los Angeles, January 2026 — From January 5 to 9, 2026, the city of Los Angeles became the epicenter of global artistic expression as it hosted IPOP_LA (International Presentation of Performers), one of the world’s leading platforms dedicated to talent discovery and career development in the creative industries.

For four intensive days, performers from more than 30 countries took center stage, showcasing their skills before an audience of industry professionals, including producers, talent managers, casting directors and media figures. The objective was clear: connect raw talent with concrete professional opportunities on the international market.

A GLOBAL PLATFORM FOR EMERGING TALENTS

IPOP_LA has established itself over the years as much more than a talent showcase. It is a strategic meeting point where artistic ambition meets industry standards. Singers, dancers, actors, models and performers were evaluated not only on stage performance, but also on their potential, discipline, adaptability and long-term career vision.

Auditions, live performances and professional feedback sessions offered participants a rare opportunity to confront the realities of the global entertainment industry while benefiting from direct guidance from seasoned professionals.

STRONG REPRESENTATION OF TALENTS OF AFRICAN ORIGIN

The 2026 edition was notably marked by a strong presence of talents of African origin, coming from Africa, Europe and the African diaspora. Their performances stood out for their creativity, authenticity and cultural richness, capturing the attention of both audiences and jury members.

Through music, dance and acting, these artists reaffirmed the growing influence of African and Afro-descendant creativity within the global cultural landscape, highlighting a generation that is both rooted in its heritage and open to international collaboration.

GISCARD NDJOGOU, A COMMITTED INTERNATIONAL JURY MEMBER

Among the members of the international jury was Giscard NDJOGOU, international journalist, member of the United States Press Agency (USPA), CEO of Afroscopie Media Group, and Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Active Actor’s agency.

Representing Active Actor’s, Giscard Ndjogou served as a jury member throughout the four days of evaluations, contributing his expertise at the crossroads of media, culture and talent development. His role focused on:

  • assessing the real potential of candidates,
  • identifying promising profiles,
  • and providing strategic guidance and professional recommendations tailored to international career pathways.

His approach, combining professional rigor with a strong human dimension, was particularly appreciated by participants, many of whom emphasized the value of constructive feedback and career-oriented advice.

AN INCLUSIVE AND HUMAN-CENTERED EXPERIENCE

Beyond competition, IPOP_LA 2026 reaffirmed its core mission: creating an inclusive, educational and human-centered space where passion meets opportunity. Each performance reflected courage, perseverance and the desire to grow within a demanding industry.

For many participants, the event represented not only a professional milestone but also a moment of validation and inspiration, reinforcing the importance of platforms that bridge talent, mentorship and global visibility.

A KEY EVENT FOR THE GLOBAL CREATIVE INDUSTRY

By bringing together cultures, disciplines and ambitions, IPOP_LA continues to play a crucial role in the structuring of global creative industries, while offering visibility to talents from regions often underrepresented on major international stages.

The 2026 edition will be remembered as a powerful moment of connection, learning and opportunity — a reminder that talent knows no borders when given the right platform.
